Eating Disorders

Struggles with food and body are all too present in our world.  Eating disorders are the second most deadly mental illness, yet the symptoms of these disorders are often praised.

Your eating disorder probably feels like a protector, something to rely on, provider of comfort and safety.  In reality, it’s the total opposite.

Treating eating disorders is the reason I became a therapist.  I will always hold empathy in this battle and know all too well that it is truly worth it to recover. Noise around food and your body doesn’t have to be a permanent part of your story. This work is hard, and it is possible.

I have experience working in higher levels of care for eating disorders. I specialize in FBT (family based treatment) for adolescents and supporting adults in their journey to recovery.  I can’t wait to help you to the other side and see you take steps towards freedom.

Specialties include:

  • Anorexia

  • Bulimia

  • Binge Eating

  • ARFID

  • Orthorexia

  • Other Specified Eating Disorders

  • Chronic Dieting

  • Body Image Concerns
