Life Transitions

Entering new stages of life is both exciting and unsettling. Whether it’s starting a new job, going off to college, relationships, or becoming a parent, these milestones—expected or unexpected—bring shifts in how we see ourselves. Identity doesn’t stay still; it bends and grows to fit new roles, responsibilities, and possibilities.

Growing pains are a natural part of that process. Feeling uncertain, restless, or even grieving what you’re leaving behind doesn’t mean you’re failing — it means you’re in transition. Sitting with the unknown, rather than rushing to resolve it, creates space to learn who you are now. That pause can reveal values, strengths, and priorities that guide intentional choices.

Therapy is a space to prepare, grieve, celebrate and cope with these changes.
